Cleveland Browns throw down in trade for QB Tyrod Taylor from Bills
It’s starting to look like the Cleveland Browns are serious about shutting down the “Factory of Sadness.”
Shortly after agreeing to trade for Miami Dolphins star receiver Jarvis Landry on Friday, the team found someone new to throw him the ball.
According to multiple reports, the Browns reached a deal to acquire quarterback Tyrod Taylor from the Buffalo Bills.
Cleveland reportedly will give up a mid-round draft pick for the 28-year-old veteran.
Browns strike again.
This time, Cleveland agrees to trade a mid-round draft pick to Buffalo for QB Tyrod Taylor, source tells ESPN.
Taylor now will throw to new Browns’ WR Jarvis Landry.
And Buffalo back in QB market.

The Browns didn’t ignore their defense Friday, agreeing to a trade with the Green Bay Packers for cornerback Damarious Randall.
The flurry of deals show Cleveland owner Jimmy Haslam and new GM John Dorsey aren’t going to stand pat after the Browns finished 0-16 for a ninth straight losing season.
The team also has a stockpile of selections at its disposal in next month’s NFL draft, including picks No. 1, 4, 33 and 35 overall.

While Taylor is an upgrade over most of the Browns’ quarterbacks in recent years, he was only moderately successful as a passer in Buffalo.
The former Virginia Tech star averaged 17 touchdown passes and just over 3,000 yards per year in leading the Bills to a 22-20 record in his three years as a starter.
He did, however, add a dynamic element with his legs, rushing for 1,711 yards and 15 touchdowns over three seasons.
It now appears even more likely that the Bills will be looking for a quarterback in the first round of the draft. They hold the 21st and 22nd overall picks and could look to move up if they like one of the prospects in what some believe is a strong quarterback class.
To make room for Taylor, the Browns reportedly will deal second-year QB DeShone Kizer to the Packers, where he will back up Aaron Rodgers.

Kizer was woeful as a rookie last year, throwing 11 touchdown passes against 22 interceptions in Cleveland’s winless campaign.
Whether all the Browns’ moves will make them successful remains to be seen, but they can’t get any worse.
