After roasting the Steelers for looking ahead, Jaguars do the exact same thing

Share

We all love the enthusiasm of young people. They’re unbridled, and so sure of themselves.

Plus, you just never know what’s going to come out of their mouths.

Take 23-year old Jalen Ramsey.

The Jaguars’ Pro Bowl cornerback should be feeling good. Jacksonville went into Pittsburgh and slapped the Steelers around, pulling off the biggest playoff upset in years and earning a trip to New England for the AFC Championship game.

When the Jags came home, the team had a pseudo pep rally at Ever Bank Field. Ramsey let the cheering crowd know the team is just getting started.

Maybe it was just being caught up in the moment, but Ramsey has apparently never heard the saying, “Those who don’t learn from history are bound to repeat it.”

You might remember last week when Steelers defensive back Mike Mitchell told the world that Pittsburgh would beat the New England Patriots — forgetting there was still a game against Jacksonville to be played.

Open mouth, insert foot.

So Ramsey thought it was a good idea to do the exact same thing to the defending Super Bowl champions? You know, the team that never says anything?

Pot, meet Kettle.
